The Gateway Unit (GW-unit) EX500-GPR1A-X8 represents a compact PROFIBUS DP slave for SMC EX500 series valves and input unit control. The protection class is IP65. The GW-units can be connected to all certified PROFIBUS DP masters up to 12 Mbps Baudrate. The slave address can be set via rotary switches. The EX500-GPR1A-X8 units simplify the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of pneumatic valves by far. Maximum 128 point control (64 inputs/64 outputs). Flexibility of manifold valve installation improved with 4 branch wiring.
