Description:
The PROFIdrive Profile Tester supports the development of PROFINET devices with PROFIdrive or ENCODER Profile application interfaces. It can be used as a tool for preparation of the PROFIdrive and ENCODER certification and also to run self-programmed test scripts.
V6.1 provides updated test scripts and the possibility to test the Encoder Profile V4.2 and PROFIdrive V4.2. Tests for the PROFIdrive on PROFIsafe Amendment are integrated as well.
For test automation, a full functional console application is supported.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Hardware requirements:
Personal computer: Ethernet Network Interface and Quad Core CPU
Free space on HD: 500 MB or more
Any S7-15xx PLC with firmware v2.6 to v4.0 with TIA v20 (or up to v3.1 with TIA v19)
Software requirements:
Operating systems: Windows 11 64-bit
Commissioning Tool: TIA v19 or TIA v20

INSTALLATION

1. Follow the instructions of the Install Wizard.
2. For further installation details see the User Guide.
3. Add your Windows User to the Openess User Group according to TIAOpenessUserGroup.pdf chapter 4.2.2
