Description:
The PROFINET TRIAL Test Bundle facilitates the development of PROFINET field devices and controllers. It features preliminary iterations of both current and prospective test systems, as well as test cases.
This TRIAL bundle introduces several enhancements:
- Netload Robustness 100Mbit/s testing (SL1T) on the Automated RT-Tester, with standard and faulty loads.
- An additional ETS image for the new ETS hardware.
Test cases employed by PITLs for PROFINET Certification are also included. Please note that these may offer expanded coverage or be subject to changes, such as corrections or improvements.
Supported MAUTypes and MAUTypeExtensions:
- 100 BASE TXFD (16)
- 100 BASE FXFD (18)
- 100 BASE FXFD (18) + POF (256)
- 1000 BASE TFD (30)
- 100 BASE PXFD (54)
- 10 BASE T1L (141) + APL (512)
Please note that the bundle container has been split into three separate volumes to keep file sizes manageable. Please download all three parts of the archive. All parts must be located in the same directory before using an extraction tool to extract the contents into a single directory.

The current Trial Bundle only supports Netload Robustness with 1ms cycle time.
A new Trial Bundle for different cycle times will be released shortly.
