The PROFIdrive Profile Tester can be used for:
- DP-Master for slave development which supports the Isochronous Mode
- DP-Master for slave development which supports the PROFIdrive Profile
- Pretest of the majority of the Isochronous Mode Tests for slaves in order to prepare the PROFIBUS DP-V2-Certification Test.
- Pretest of the majority of the Test cases for slaves in order to prepare the PROFIdrive Certification Test.
- Reconstruction of problems out of the Certfification Test or from field problems
The PROFIdrive Profile Tester is not suitable for:
- Substitute for a Certfification Test
- Substitute for a PLC or other control an automation masters
