A successful entry into modular production concepts begins with a clear design of modular units. This workshop focuses on PEA design and addresses how modular units can be meaningfully defined, structured, and described.
Using practical examples, participants will learn how reusable and scalable Process Equipment Assemblies (PEAs) are created, how early design decisions impact system integration and project execution, and how to approach modularization efficiently — before applying tools or standards.Date: March 19, 2026
Time: English session: 4 pm–approx. 5.30 pm (CET)
(German session: 10 am - 11.30 am (CET) --> Separate registration is required.)
Location: Online (MS Teams)
Participation fee: Free of charge
Target audience:
Plant and module manufacturers, system integrators (EPC/EPCM), as well as technical decision-makers and engineering leads from the process industries.
Key topics include:
- Where does modularization make sense — and where does it not?
- How is a robust PEA cut defined?
- Which characteristics make PEAs truly reusable?
- How does early PEA design affect integration and project execution?
- How can suitable pilot PEAs be selected and structured?
This workshop provides a solid foundation for the later use of MTP and complements the MTP 2.0 fundamentals webinar by focusing on the preceding architecture and design phase.
» Participation in all webinars is free of charge.
» By registering, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data.
The workshop is part of the MTP webinar series. Further practice-oriented sessions will follow in June 2026.
