This document provides the necessary changes and extensions to the basic IO-Link interface and system standard for wireless communication including the radio characteristic, air interface, frequencies, message/frame types, and pairing mechanism as well as the necessary configuration management and the changes of state machines compared to IO-Link Interface and System Specification.
