The major Standards Development Organizations PI, OPC Foundation, ODVA and FieldComm Group are working on a common view on relevant cybersecurity topics and have published a first white paper of their joint working group, the Industrial Ethernet Security Harmonization Group (IESHG). The document was created to highlight various topics related to security concepts of industrial automation environments. It provides the content in the form of a list of frequently asked questions and the answers to Industrial Ethernet security concepts.
