PROFINET Tester Source Code
PROFIBUS & PROFINET International (PI) provides its members with the PROFINET Test Bundle free of charge, which supports the development of PROFINET interfaces for field devices and controllers. It is used at the approved PI Test Labs certification testing and it can be used as a means for preparation of the mandatory certification tests.
A joint development and maintenance of such a tool is not only accelerating the implementation of new test cases and reducing the expenditure of involved parties, but is also helping to improve the interoperability of products from different manufacturers.
For this reason, PI has set up a community in which all interested members can gain access to the source code of the test tool. The prerequisite is that interested members are willing to make contributions.
The goal behind this community idea is to increase the speed of providing higher test coverage of the PROFINET Test Bundle by attracting more technology providers, development kits, chip manufacturers and contributors to continuous innovation by providing automated test cases and software for automated test execution from the PI community.
Employees of PI members can gain access to this source code after signing the contribution agreement by the member company and passing the registration procedure.

You can only gain access to the PROFINET Tester Source Code if your company alredy has signed a contribution agreement.
