Ramón is a VP for Intelligent Operations within Capgemini Engineering, and has the role of CTO for Manufacturing & Operations and Global Head of Manufacturing & Process Engineering.

He has been driving transformation in industrial companies for more than 35 years, both in the strategy and the implementation sides.
He started as consultant in the manufacturing industry, leading the implementation of improvement projects in several customers in Europe.
He has worked with more than 50 companies along his career; Airbus, Sanofi, Novartis, Sun Chemical, Roche Pharma, Endesa, Cepsa, GSK, Akzo Nobel, BP Solar, Coty Astor, Iberia, Lucent Technologies, Siemens and Schweppes being the most representative. Main areas of expertise provided during these projects include Manufacturing Technologies, Manufacturing Excellence and Industrial Strategy (both in the design and implementation). 
During the last ten years, he has been heavily involved in the technology levers for transforming manufacturing: advanced manufacturing processes like ALM and laser surface treatment, Edge computing to control operations, Advanced Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to improve process performance, Computer Vision for Quality Control, etc.

Ramón is an active speaker at events related to the transformation of the manufacturing industries.
