The Evolution of Get Together for Robotics
The Get Together for Robotics (GTFR) began with a clear vision: to forge a dynamic platform for innovation, trends, and networking across the entire robotics spectrum. Our aim was to efficiently connect robotics users and universities directly with manufacturers, startups, and organizations, filling a crucial gap in the industry.
From its inception in 2022, bringing together leading robot experts and PLC manufacturers to promote cross-organizational standardization, GTFR quickly demonstrated its value. The event rapidly evolved, expanding its scope in 2023 to include diverse keynotes and its first roundtable, and further establishing itself in 2024 as a comprehensive two-day event with a richer program and enhanced networking opportunities. By 2025, GTFR had become a vital platform for industry leadership, attracting a record number of participants, including many C-level executives, and strategically integrating new industry players like vision systems providers.
Organized by PI (PROFIBUS & PROFINET International), the same body behind the SRCI (Standard Robot Command Interface) standard, GTFR's increasing registration numbers consistently affirm that we are effectively meeting the industry's need for direct, impactful exchange.
