The TPS-1 reference board is a reference board for the TPS-1 PROFINET device chip.
It includes PROFINET communication board and Host CPU (RX231) bord and software for a simple PROFINET RT network and it serves as a starting point for customer’s own developments.
The TPS-1 reference board was certified as Refence Implementaion, so customer can refer the design of boards and software.
The major hardware components of the TPS-1 reference board are the TPS-1 itself.
On the network side the reference board offers standard 100BASE-TX connections; on the system side access to the TPS-1 is possible to communicate by SPI or 8/16bit Parallel.
The TPS-1 is a single-chip PROFINET interface component integrating a CPU, a 2-port switch supporting latest PROFINET specifications, the Ethernet PHYs and peripheral modules to interface to the application layer of any application building a PROFINET device.
