The Certified PROFIBUS PA Engineer training course is an intensive four-day program.
We are an officially accredited PROFIBUS International Competence and Training Center. (PICC and PITC) and conduct many courses on fieldbus technology.

This program is offically recognized by PROFIBUS International and represents a worldwide training standard.
During the first three days the trainee will gain all the necessary knowledge, theoretical and practical, regarding PROFIBUS PA and parts of DP technology.
On the fourth day the program finishes with an exam. The lessons build up in a way that the depth of the course steadily intensifies while core topics are constantly re-emphasized through repetition.

Practical exercises:
  Wiring of bus segment DP/PA
  Commissioning with a-cyclic tool
  Cyclic communication, data handling
  Programming of function blocks
  Device integration in to different PLC systems (like ABB, Siemens, ControlCare, Rockwell etc.)
  Physical signal measurement on DP and PA
  Signal quality interpretation with help of oscilloscope
  Introduction of the latest trouble shooting tools like ProfiTrace
  Current, voltage measurements
  Handling with busanalizer, observe of PROFIBUS DP protocol
  commissioning of demo plant

Prerequisites:

  Capable of working with Windows based application
