The PROFI Interface Center in conjunction with PI North America has released a new video series on PROFINET Technology which can help engineers and developers understand how PROFINET technology works and what features are available in quick five minute (or less) sessions.

The first two videos of the series have now been posted which are an "Introduction to PROFINET technology" and about "Using IO" devices with PROFINET".
Future videos will provide information about PROFINET's comprehensive feature list including diagnostics, device replacement, security, safety, proxies, fast start up, wireless and others.
