PI Middle East would like to thank the presenters, attendees and sponsors for the successful 'PROFIBUS in F&B, Pharmaceutical & Fine Chemicals" seminar held on June 13th at The Address Hotel, Dubai Marina.
ABB, Endress + Hauser, Pepperl + Fuchs, Phoenix Contact, Siemens, Stahl and Turck jointly sponsored the event which focused on the benefits of using PROFIBUS in the F&B, Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemicals Industries.
PI Middle East vendor members, Mr. Ala' Majaj, Mr. Tomasz Sinczak, and Dr. Paula Doyle gave presentations on PI Middle East organisation, PROFIBUS technology, and benefits of using PROFIBUS.
Presenters from Julphar, 3W Technomatic and Jacobs Engineering shared their personal experiences of using PROFIBUS and the benefits the technology has brought to their plants and projects.
Mr. Nazik AbuZaid, from Julphar Insulin plant, gave a presentation on how using PROFIBUS technology in the plant simplified engineering, installation and commissioning and leads to improved operations & maintenance.
Mr. Lassad Drissi, 3W Technomatic, presented the benefits of PROFIBUS for the F&B Industry. His presentation focused on the cost savings over traditional technologies, as well as the flexibiity for future modifications and expansions.
Mr. BV Reddy, from Jacobs Engineering presented his personal experience of using PROFIBUS in a Pharmaceutical project, and the application of PROFIBUS in EX environments.
100 attendees representing end-users, system integrators and vendors attended the 4-hour session.
