Profile

Profile and experience of the PICC:
Since over 20 years TMG TE is a well experienced and established specialist for the development of fieldbus interfaces and fieldbus technology.

Within our PICC activities, we provide interested companies with a wide range of consultancy and development services:

• Support of the innovation management process and the technology selection process so that new business segments are successfully positioned in the market and integrated into your company.
• Workshops to support the technology selection process for new fieldbus products in order to help companies defining the appropriate time for developing or/and using products based on PROFIBUS, PROFINET and I/O-Link technologies.
• Support within the development process of fieldbus devices, i.e. PROFIBUS DP and PROFINET for factory automation, PROFIBUS PA for process automation, PROFIdrive for drives. We provide companies with comprehensive services like:
  - Training on fieldbus technologies
  - Adaptation of fieldbus solutions to different customer specific hardware and software achitectures
  - PROFIBUS developments for Siemens process controllers, like DPC31, SPC3, SPC4-2 or ASPC2
  - PROFINET developments for the Siemens asics ERTEC 200 and ERTEC 400
  - Porting of the PROFINET System-Software and Firmware to Real-Time-Operating-Systems within small footprints and with low license costs
• Certification of fieldbus devices at accredited test labs after the device development to assure the quality of the development results
• Development support of system components, which are necessary to grant the success of fieldbus products on the customer's side, like proprietary integration tools or EDD/DTM based tools.

Demo Systems:
We rund a demo wall with PROFINET controller and PROFINET devices, PROFIBUS PA devices, PROFIBUS Ethernet gateways, DP-V1 devices and tools for device developments, like test tools and analyzers and I/O-Link devices as well.

Special Servics:
Vendor neutral trouble shooting in PROFIBUS and PROFINET communication systems by means of surveying the actual installation and communication state of fieldbus devices.
