The PROFIBUS Nutzerorganisation e.V. (PNO) is holding a so called PROFIBUS breakfast at the chemical park of Bayer in Leverkusen on 12th October 2005. The event is organized in cooperation with Bayer Technology Services (BTS).
It is intended for automation, planning and commissioning specialists at the chemicals location Cologne/Leverkusen and neighboring regions. From 8:00 h to 11:30 h, the participants receive information about PROFIBUS in addition to a substantial breakfast buffet. Several lectures will discuss the application options and benefits of PROFIBUS in hybrid systems, about PROFIsafe for process automation, and PROFIBUS applications at the Bayer chemical park. A multi-vendor demo about the topic “PROFIBUS Diagnostics and Asset Management“ concludes the morning event, which will be carried out in German language.
The PROFIBUS breakfast is supported by member companies of the PNO from the area of process automation who will also be available on site to the participants for questions and additional information.
