RoadShow South East Asia "Getting The Message Thorugh" a Major Success

The best evidence for the world wide success of the PROFIBUS story is given by some impressive figures: More than 2,500 PROFIBUS products from several hundred vendors are available today. As of 2004, the installed base of the huge product variety is greater than 12.6 Million devices and increasing at a rate of 20% per annum which are successfully used in more than a one million applications in manufacturing and process automation.

With the dramatic development of PROFIBUS technology, there is a need to show the world how powerful this technology has become. PROFIBUS International (PI) and its regional association – the PROFIBUS Association of South East Asia – did conduct a series of Technical Seminars for South East Asia. These events have bee sponsored by 11 members of PROFIBUS SEA , which are ABB, Endress+Hauser, FESTO, LappKabel, Mettler-Toledo, Pepperl+Fuchs, Siemens, Softing, SMAR, Wago, Weidmueller.
