User Seminar on EDDL :

Electronic Device Description Language

At this year’s Hanover and Achema trade fairs, the EDDL™ Cooperation Team (ECT) will be organizing a user seminar entitled “EDDL – The key to interoperability,” which will report on the status of the harmonization and enhancements achieved to date and on the future development road map for EDDL. EDDL is the world’s leading integration method for incorporating field devices into automation technology.
The heads of four organizations – the OPC Foundation, the Fieldbus Foundation, the HART Communication Foundation, and Profibus International (PI) – will be highlighting the benefits of EDDL technology from their point of view. Live demonstrations will illustrate how EDDL is used in different host systems. The four experts will then be available for individual discussions.
