The PROFIBUS Group will be supporting MTEC at the Birmingham NEC on 13th and 14th February 2008. We will be showing a multi-vendor automation system developed by the team at the PICC at Manchester Metropolitan University.

The Group will be making 2 presentations on Thursday 14th February. Andy Verwer from the PICC will be presenting in the "Industrial Networks - for Fieldbus and Open Systems" lecture theatre a session on PROFIBUS and PROFINET covering :

1. Overview and Applications of PROFIBUS & PROFINET
2. Practical demonstration of a PROFIBUS & PROFINET system - from configuration to data exchange
