PROFINET CBA Runtime Software Version 2.20

PROFINET is available as a specification and as software. The PROFINET specification V2.20 describes all the aspects of PROFINET: object and component model, runtime communication, proxy concept, engineering, as well as the new parts Soft Realtime (SRT), network management, and web integration. The PROFINET Software is an operating system independent implementation of the PROFINET Runtime. It is available as source code. PROFINET Runtime Software is independent of the operating system environment and it covers the entire runtime communication. The PROFINET Runtime Software is comprised of a solid core and modules which have to be adapted to the environment of the respective target system. During creation of this manual, due consideration was given to the fact that development and porting of the software is being performed by different companies working to different standards. In case the user uses open source software (e.g. operating system), the user shall make sure that the license conditions of the open source software do not apply to the Software.

PROFINET CBA Test Tool v2.01

The PROFINET CBA Test Tool is a 32-bit MS Windows application. It provides an easy-to-use interface for testting PROFINET devices during development. The PROFINET CBA Test Tool is based on the PROFINET - Architecture Description and Specification V2.01. The Tool is provided free of charge by PROFIBUS Nutzerorganisation e.V. (Germany).
