Organization of the Southern African Regional PROFIBUS Association

The strength and durability of any open standard can be found in the level of collaboration between interested parties in the formation and support of the standard. Ultimately for an open standard to succeed, especially in the time and reliability critical industrial sphere, a powerful user-base must be formed with well structured training, technical support and quality policies to ensure smoothness of integration and guaranteed quality.

The Southern African Regional PROFIBUS Association is a sub-organisation of the global non-profit PROFIBUS & PROFINET Interternational (PI) Organisation

Organizational Structure

The Southern African Regional PROFIBUS Association is a group of member companies interested in the development and use of PROFIBUS and PROFINET technologies within the Southern African region. This includes product vendors, project houses, integration providers and technology end users. Membership is renewed annually, with fees going towards marketing, upskilling and support of the technology. For more information on membership and how to become a member please consult the membership section of this website.

A Committee of volunteers from interested member companies organizes the Group's Activities.
